Audience: Assistant Managers at Top Shelf Books that have various levels of experience in their role. The Assistant Managers have been in their role anywhere from 3-8 months. 

Business Problem: Employee performance is low because employees do not know what they are doing well at work or how they can improve their work performance. 

Solution: This e-Learning module highlights ways to provide effective feedback to employees. After completing this module, Assistant Managers will have the skills to provide effective feedback to their employees. Implementing these skills will help increase employee performance by 35% .  

Process: Using the ADDIE/SAM model, a systematic approach was implemented to develop this e-Learning module. A needs analysis was conducted to identify learning gaps, analyze the target audience, and define learning objectives. In the design phase, a design document and a storyboard were created to serve as a roadmap for the development phase and visualize the structure of the module. During the development phase, various interactions were used to engage the learner while enhancing their understanding. After full implementation, a comprehensive evaluation was conducted to assess the effectiveness of the module.

Evaluation: Using Kirkpatrick Level 2 and Level 3 Evaluation, there's a final assessment at the end of the module. This consists of 5 scenario based questions to assess the learning objectives. Learners must achieve 80% to pass. Learners were observed 4 months after completing the training to see if they were providing effective feedback to employees. Employees were interviewed 4 months after Assistant Managers completed the training to see if they had a better idea of their work performance.

Audience: Employees at Bee Natural Hair Salon that are responsible for washing a customer's hair.

Business Problem: Customers are complaining about their hair not being properly cleaned and moisturized.

Solution: This module highlights the steps to wash a customer's hair. After completing this module, all employees will be able to follow the procedures outlined to provide quality service when washing a customer's hair. Following the procedures will lead to customer satisfaction increasing by 30%.  

Process: Components of the ADDIE/SAM models were used to develop this e-Learning module. Conducting a needs analysis ensured the module defined clear learning objectives addressed specific needs to bridge learning gaps. The module was developed to include various interactions to engage learners and enhance their understanding. This includes interactive elements such as accordion and tab interactions to make the learning experience more dynamic and effective. After the module was fully developed, it was rolled out to learners through a smooth deployment process.

Evaluation: A comprehensive evaluation was conducted to assess the module’s effectiveness. Using Kirkpatrick Level 2 and Level 3 Evaluation, there's a final assessment at the end of the module. This consists of 5 questions to assess the learning objectives. Learners must achieve 80% to pass. Learners were observed 30 days after completing the training to see if they were following the outlined procedure to provide quality service when washing a customer's hair.
